My first pictures from the Earthquake here in Chile

well here are a few pics of whats been going on. today the president of our mission is coming to see us. we´re all doing well here still. aside from the fact that we woke up to 3 earthquakes over 6 on the richter scale. honestly i just waited there while everything was shaking like crazy and once it was going for more than about ten seconds i started to leave. there are so many earthquakes every day its crazy. and whats worse is that we´re so accustomed to them. its crazy that the earthquake in haiti was only like a 6 or 7. and we have those all the time and its not even a big deal.

we were talking last night and we´re all really excited for the hopeful results of this experience. i think that the hearts of the people will be more open to us and want to except god and christ into their lives. we all feel really strong about the upcoming weeks and months. all we need now is just to let things get back to normal. all we can do is lend helping hands really right now and be patient. i wanted to go to concepcion where this is a ton of damage and help but they said there is already sufficient help there. so we´re doing what we can here. things are going good and hope you enjoy the pictures!

After the 8.8 Earthquake, we needed to get to the Stake Center in Los Angeles Chile

No one was around....
Finally, some local transporation!

These Chilean's are sweet!!!
On the way, we saw a lot of Earthquake damage...

Peoples homes totally distroyed...
Down town Los Angles Chile flooded...
Houses falling on vehicles...
The Chilean Army showed up to restore some order...
People waiting for food....
We arrived at the Stake Center and found it damaged...
Inside the Stake Center a lot of damage. The benches in the chapel were damaged so we made use of them...
Actually the bench padding we sit on, do make good beds...
I will try to send more pictures soon.  I love you all!
